AI Gap Analysis for Care Providers
External written assessment against the operational standard. £300 fixed fee. 5 working days.
What you receive
1. Written assessment (12–15 pages)
Your current documentation reviewed against the 15 pillars of the operational standard, with pass/partial/gap rating for each.
2. Priority-ordered remediation list
Top gaps in order of inspection risk, each with a concrete action, an estimated effort, and the CQC key question at stake.
3. Policy templates (where relevant)
Fill-in-the-blank templates for the most common missing pieces: AI-use policy, named-accountability clause, staff briefing, incident procedure addendum.
4. 30-minute follow-up call
Walk through the findings with the person accountable in your service. Priorities discussed, questions answered.
What we ask from you
- Your current AI-related documentation, if any (policies, staff briefings, incident logs, procurement contracts touching AI). If you have none, say so — that itself is data.
- A one-paragraph description of the service (size, type, main technology in use).
- One decision-maker's name for the follow-up call.
Turnaround
Written assessment within 5 working days of receiving your documentation. Follow-up call scheduled in the second week. Rushed turnaround (2–3 days) available on request at £450.
Confidentiality
The engagement is confidential. Anonymised patterns may be used to improve the standard (with your permission). No provider is named in any public output without explicit written consent.
When this is the right service
- You've taken the readiness check and scored below 71
- You have a CQC inspection due in the next 6 months
- You've been asked by a commissioner or a family what your AI policy is
- You're a multi-site group and want a baseline across services
When this is not the right service
- You need bespoke software development (this is policy work, not implementation)
- You need legal advice — we're not solicitors. We flag legal touchpoints; you engage a solicitor for the legal opinion
- You need CQC-registered advice on regulatory compliance — this is an advisory standard, not a formal conformity assessment
For groups of 3+ services
Half-day workshop delivered onsite or via Teams for regional managers and named-accountable staff. Includes the gap analysis for up to 3 services plus a briefing on the standard. £3,500 fixed fee. Enquire by email.
