Staff use ChatGPT quietly. Rostering software includes AI features. Falls-monitoring vendors rebrand their algorithms as "smart". None of this stops for a policy discussion. This site publishes the operational standard, the free readiness check, and the plain-English answers the sector is asking for.
Why this exists now
In May 2026 the Care Quality Commission published its position on AI in health and social care: it encourages the use of AI, will not create a separate AI framework, and is considering sector-specific guidance for 2026–27. The 10 Year Health Plan calls for a shift from analogue to digital. The Casey Commission on adult social care asks for outcomes that are productive and preventative.
Every arrow points the same way. What is missing is not permission — it is a method of assurance. This site provides one: an operational standard for how AI is supervised in care settings, written so a registered manager can act on it on Monday.
